How do Fillers Compare with Facelifts?
They are Much less expensive.
Some fillers can last 1 to 2 years and cost 5- 10% of a face lift.
Fillers are safe and quick, with immediate results, and show subtle but real improvement. In other words, you never look stretched or “weird.”
Skillfully done face lifts can nicely tighten skin and remove wrinkles. But they cannot restore the essence of a younger face, and that’s fullness!
Will I be bruised after my injection?
Some patients (especially those on aspirin or blood thinners) may show some bruising. But it can usually be masked with make-up and goes away quickly.
Do you need to test me for allergic reactions before using Juvéderm fillers?
We do not. Juvéderm is hyaluronic acid, a constituent of your own dermal collagen. True allergies to Juvéderm’s components are extremely rare.
